Smart Start

When you sign up at Your Life Fitness Centre you are able to choose between our 30min free Introduction Session or one of our Smart Start Programs to give you the best start in your training. You don’t have to be a new member to take advantage of these opportunities. Anytime you need some assistance with your training, see our friendly reception team & we will get you booked in! Please be aware that the below options are add-ons on top of your membership fees & you must be a Your Life member to take advantage of these programs.

Introduction session

Cost: Free

  • 30 minutes with a qualified Your Life Personal Trainer to show you how to use our strength &/or cardio equipment & take you through a beginner full body strength program.

Smart Start training

  • x3 30 minute Personal Training sessions to be used over 8 weeks with a qualified Your Life Personal Trainer.
  • A personalised fitness program will be created for you during your sessions & all sessions will be personalised to your goals.
  • x1 Fit3D scan. To be used at the start of the program. (Valued at $42).
  • Nutrition Education Ebook. (Valued at $39.99).

  • Personalised Meal Plan designed specifically for your health & fitness goals including calorie & macro breakdowns & weekly shopping lists by our qualified Clinical Nutritionist. This 14 day meal plan is designed based on your specific goals & is designed to be repeated for 9-12 weeks or until you have reached your specific goal.

Jessie Aylward – Clinical Nutritionist

Jessie is Your Life’s qualified Clinical Nutritionist with an Advanced Diploma in Nutritional Medicine from the Australian Institute in Applied Science. Jessie has worked in the health & fitness industry for over a decade as a Personal Trainer & Nutritionist & specialises in nutrition for weight loss & muscle building. 

When signing up for the Smart Start Nutrition program you will complete a detailed questionnaire in regards to your current health & exercise practices & your current goals. Using this & the results from your Fit3D body scan, Jessie will calculate your optimal daily calories & macros & use your eating preferences to create a 14 day Personalised Meal Plan to get you optimal results!

Need ongoing support or a program update? This is for you.

Smart Start is really just that; a smart start for someone wanting to turn their life around. Through this program I started eating properly thanks to the personalised nutrition plan Jessie put together for me. Her recipes were easy to follow and were based on my personal food preferences. Kelsey then set me up with a personalised training plan based on my weight loss and strength building goals. As an inexperienced gym user myself, she took the time to show me how to use the equipment with correct technique and went through all aspects of the plan with me so that I felt confident in starting a training routine. In 3 months I lost over 10 kilograms at an age when it’s usually harder to lose weight. After returning from a cruise last year, I was not happy with my weight.  It was the heaviest I had ever been, so decided I needed to do something about it and joined Your Life Fitness at Port.  With initial help from personal trainer Kelsie and Nutritionist Jessie Aylward, I managed to achieve my weight loss goal in 22 weeks.

 

After a 3D scan, Jessie set up a three week meal plan for me and this was repeated until the desired weight loss was achieved.  The meals were enjoyable and easy to prepare. With ‘snacks’ as well, I didn’t feel hungry. I even had support from my husband and he ate most of the meals as well.  The weight loss was slow and steady.

 

I am hoping to lose a little more before our next cruise in November, but having already lost 10.4kgs I feel a lot healthier, enjoying life and exercising more.
